Genesis said that it had started using ConceptionXD technology that has been under development for the past nine months to fulfil the company’s new approach for producing AAA video slots games for casino operators.
“HTML5 games for the mobile channel will be delivered faster and simultaneously with the same games in Flash for the online computer channel,” Genesis said.
“ConceptionXD offers the promise of Concept To Cross Channel Delivery with a single development effort and timeline.”
Earlier this week, Genesis released the first video slot game developed using ConceptionXD, East Of The Sun, West Of The Moon, which was launched by online gambling operator Unibet Group. The game is available online in Flash and on mobile in HTML5 simultaneous multi‐channel delivery.
Genesis plans to offer the mobile technology to certain strategic partners in the future.
“We are very pleased to offer this new approach to fast-tracking high-quality mobile game production,” Genesis General Manager Geoffrey Hansen said.
“We aim to simplify the roadmap and marketing efforts of operators seeking quality games for multiple channels. In particular, the ability for a simultaneous launch of a game on both the online and mobile channels is both efficient and effective for casino operators.”
