Garena has launched BOOYAH!, a platform for gaming videos, in India. BOOYAH! is the term used for a win in the game Free Fire – the battle royale developed by Garena. The app could potentially be used for any and all games, however its themes, features, and release seem to be focused on positioning it as the platform for content creators of Free Fire.
BOOYAH! offers chatting with other users and live-streaming, Users will be able to broadcast gameplay on the app itself, Facebook Gaming, YouTube Gaming, and Twitch and they would be able to also re-stream and chat with viewers on all platforms simultaneously at no additional cost.
The app also allows users to generate Free Fire match highlights, link their Free Fire accounts to BOOYAH!, and share them via social media. Users can create custom rooms where viewers can play along with or compete against their favorite streamers.
BOOYAH! also hosts events in a bid to attract users to the platform such as streamer reward programs, drop-enabled streams, and broadcast of esport events such as the Free Fire India Scrim Wars.
The app is available on download for both Android and Apple-based devices, along with a web version that is accessible through PCs.
