F1 Introduces Its First Mobile Racing eSports Competition

F1 continues its rapid growth in the mobile gaming industry by offering worldwide fans of all ages the opportunity to participate in competitive racing, completely free in a brand new mobile competition. The contest is the latest step in the ongoing strategy of F1 to reach out to a younger demographic and make the sport more accessible through gaming and sports.

Released on 7th September, the F1 Mobile Racing Esports competition will be played solely on the F1 Mobile Racing game (free to download on iOS and Android mobile devices), created by Codemasters, who have recently been nominated for the Esports Game of the Year for F1 2019®.

Unlike the F1 Esports Series presented by Aramco, which will return in October, there will be no live events or broadcasts for this competition, with everything being contested in-game on mobile devices.

The competition will span four months with monthly Qualifications Leagues, where a host of in-game challenges and rewards will be available to competing players before the season peaks with the Final in December, when one winner will be crowned F1 Mobile Racing Esports 2020 Champion and receive a custom trophy.
