ESL has become the latest in the seemingly endless line of properties adapted to the popular board game Monopoly. Dubbed Esport Monopoly, the licensed board game was developed in close collaboration with ESL Gaming and will be made available in Europe through online retailers as well as in the Müller drugstore chain.
The board features ESL tournaments, gaming festivals, and merchandise stores instead of the traditional Park Place and Baltic Ave. and includes esports-themed game pieces. According to an announcement, other ESL-themed board games are in the works.
Monopoly and gaming have a long history, with versions of the board game having been made for many of the most popular IPs including Super Mario and Fortnite.
