Esports tournament operator ESL Gaming announced this week that it has hired Rob Balsamo as its VP of Global Brand Partnerships.
Balsamo has spent more than 20 years selling sports partnerships for companies such as Monster Jam, NFL, Live Nation, and Professional Bull Riders.
“I’m excited to bring my 20+ years of selling sports partnerships to ESL Gaming,” Balsamo said on social media. “The more I learned about the company during the exploratory process, the more I had to be part of the winning team.”
ESL Gaming is one of the largest esports and gaming lifestyle companies in the world and is the parent of both ESL and DreamHack. ESL operates international leagues and tournaments under the ESL Pro Tour, including ESL One, Intel Extreme Masters, DreamHack Masters, ESL Pro League, and more.
