Global interconnection and data center company Equinix, Inc. announced the appointment of Adaire Fox-Martin, a professional with extensive experience in the information technology sector, to the Equinix Board of Directors on Tuesday.
In addition to serving as a Director, Fox-Martin will also be a member of the Board’s Nominating Committee. With the addition of Fox-Martin, the number of directors on the Equinix Board is now 11.
Adaire Fox-Martin’s career
Fox-Martin’s career spans more than 25 years in the IT sector, having served in leadership positions across the Asia Pacific, Europe and the Americas in sales, business development, consulting, and education.
Currently, Fox-Martin is a member of the Executive Board of SAP SE. In this role, she is responsible for the company’s global sales organization. Previously, she was the President of APAC and Japan for SAP from 2014 until 2017. According to her LinkedIn, she first joined SAP in January of 2008.

Prior to the past 12 years with SAP, Fox-Martin spent Oracle Corporation, a technology provider, where she spent more than 18 years with. She initially joined the company in September of 1989.
Across her time with the company, she held roles such as Senior Training Consultant, UK up to Senior Director, Industry Solutions, Asia Pacific, among others. In 2004 she was promoted to Vice President Government Education and Healthcare (GEH), Oracle APAC.
