EA rebrands Origin and Access subscriptions as EA Play. EA is rebranding its subscription offerings, Access and Origin. EA Access and Origin Access Basic will be branded as EA Play as of August 18, and EA Play Pro will be renamed Origin Access Premier.
The facilities, the company said, will have a fresh look too. These will also have the same services, including a library of over 100 games and new releases early trials. On digital transactions you do get a 10 per cent discount. In the coming months you should expect more improvements, such as in-game challenges you won’t have access to anywhere else, and reward drops like Ultimate Team Packs.
“EA Play puts you at the center of the experience,” the publisher wrote in a blog post. “Moving all the benefits to a single brand is an important step in streamlining our services to ensure that being an EA Play member is the best way to play.”
