DraftKings challenges English and Australian bettors in competition. In its Ashes 2020 game, DraftKings invites 20 English and Australian bettors to fight it out across five sports.
The inspiration behind the contests is the famed Ashes Cricket series which is a highly competitive clash over five matches, called Tests, between Australia and England.
In DraftKings’ spin on the Ashes, the five Test series (contest) will be run across five different sports available on DraftKings.
Ten existing DraftKings players will be selected from each respective country to fly the flag for Australia or UK with two captains leading the teams.
Each team of 10 players is battling over a total of $10K being offered in cash prizes, with both daily and cumulative leaderboards.
The DraftKings Ashes will be run over a one-week period with the 5 sports including NBA, CS:GO, Soccer, PGA Wyndham Championship and AFL.
