Sweden-based software development company Cubeia is to launch a new real-money poker network in India in collaboration with local partner Mirch Entertainment.
Cubeia said that the network, which is based on its Cubeia Poker open source platform, will become one of the first pure HTML5 clients to go live in the Indian market.
The software development firm also said that the poker client will run on any computer and most mobile devices, as well as on all major browsers and operating systems.
In addition, the Cubeia Network will also integrate with payment providers in the country.
Thrill Poker is the first operator expected to go live during the fourth quarter of 2013.
“It is an exciting new market with huge potential and I believe our HTML5 solution is perfectly placed to capture the growing interest in poker,” Cubeia’s executive vice-president, Lars Nilsson, said.
