Corona Resort & Casino has reopened in Vietnam. The only casino available to locals in Vietnam is back in business amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
General Manager of the casino Goran Milosheski shared that the casino, has resumed operations on 21 April. However, the property is limited to no more than 30 people in one location at a time and is only opening its doors to customers every day for 12 hours, from 6 pm until 6 am. Public activities are also not permitted until further notice.
“We are waiting for more information from the government at the end of this week, [which we expect to be] positive,” Milosheski said.
Corona Resort & Casino has been given a 3 year trial period in which Vietnamese are permitted to play for as long as they meet certain qualifying requirements, including a minimum monthly salary of VND10 million ( US$ 433).
