CME Group has a couple of key vacancies to fill after losing two senior foreign exchange (FX) directors this week.
The derivatives marketplace has now lost two FX Directors, Nigel Manthorp and Malcolm Baker, ending a short stint for each London-based executive. Mr. Manthorp assumed the role of Director of FX Products at CME Group in January 2014, following a lengthy career in the FX industry. He has resigned to join an undisclosed company, sources learned.
Prior to joining CME Group, he worked at ICAP, Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters, and Tullett Prebon in a number of FX roles dating back to 1988. The vast majority of this time was filled with his role as FX Director at Thomson Reuters, which spanned over a decade.
Alternatively, Mr. Baker has resigned from CME Group for personal reasons. Following the move, Mr. Baker has founded his own company, Twos Tens LTD. Twos Tens specializes in Over-The-Counter (OTC), listed interest rates and FX derivatives.
