The Chicago Board Options Exchange (NASDAQ:CBOE), one of the largest exchange operators in the United States, has announced its newest senior appointment, promoting Laura Zinanni to the role of Vice President (VP), Office of the Chief Executive Officer, per a group statement.
In her new role Ms. Zinanni will be acting as the paramount advisor to CEO Edward T. Tilly, providing advice and recommendations on key issues that are pertinent to the agenda of the group, as well as advising on enterprise-wide strategy projects, whilst monitoring the execution of company initiatives.
She originally joined the CBOE back in 2011. Previously Ms. Zinanni worked as Special Assifstant to the CEO and Lead Counsel during her tenure at the CBOE. In addition, she worked for over ten years in the legal space, including attorney positions at Seyfarth Shaw, Williams Mullen and served as Senior Associate, Tax, at Arthur Andersen.
