Brazilian esports organization LOUD announced on Monday that it is now being sponsored by the Itaú bank. The brand will now be displayed on LOUD’s jerseys for its competitive teams (League of Legends, Fortnite, and Free Fire) and also on the SOMOS LOUD (translated as “We are LOUD”) documentary, which shows the stories behind the success of LOUD’s influencers.
Financial details were not disclosed.
This is the second step by Itaú, one of the main banks in Brazil and one of the most valuable brands in the country, toward the esports scene. Last week the brand entered the environment through the recently-founded organization Hero Base, and revealed that it would step further by focusing initiatives on influencers in the market.
LOUD is one of the most prominent esports organizations in Brazil, and has used a consistent content strategy with influencers, focused not only on gaming but also on lifestyle, to grow and break audience records. The organization is currently expanding its boundaries, having entered the music and the fashion industries in the last weeks.
Other LOUD sponsors are Twitch, Discord, and Fusion Energy Drink.
