Boyd Gaming and FanDuel join forces to develop online and mobile sports betting and gaming across the US.
Boyd Gaming Corporation and FanDuel Group, two powerhouses of the US gambling industry, have announced a strategic partnership to develop sports betting and online gaming across the United States.
After its latest two acquisitions, Nevada-based Boyd Gaming will operate 29 casinos across 10 states, giving it a formidable presence across America. With Boyd Gaming’s market-access agreement with MGM Resorts International, which is also included in the agreement, Boyd will have access in 15 states.
The agreement, which is still subject to state law and regulatory approvals, will see Boyd Gaming leverage FanDuel Group’s technology and services to operate Boyd Gaming-branded mobile and online sports betting and gaming services.
Meanwhile FanDuel will operate mobile and online sports betting and gaming services under it’s branding, in states where Boyd Gaming is licensed.
