The Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in the US state of New Jersey has launched two free mobile gaming applications for iOS devices to complement its online gaming websites.
The apps, which have been developed by Borgata’s online gaming partner bwin.party, allow players in New Jersey to access the land-based operator’s BorgataCasino.com and BorgataPoker.com websites whilst on the move.
Both apps are supported by iOS 4.3 or later and can be access via WIFI networks on an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch.
The BorgataCasino.com app allows players to access slot games, jackpot promotions and variety of table games such as blackjack and roulette.
Elsewhere, the BorgataPoker.com app enables players to select a range of different poker games including real-money, fast-forward, play-money or preview poker.
In addition, the ‘Quick Seat’ feature on the BorgataPoker.com app allows players to choose a certain seat from hundreds of real-money Texas Hold’em tables on the website.
Players on both apps will also qualify for Borgata’s iRewards loyalty rewards scheme. Points can be redeemed at Borgata and spent on cash, bonuses, entertainment, retail shopping and accommodation at the hotel.
“With unique and original iOS apps available now for both BorgataCasino.com and BorgataPoker.com, and the expansion of our mobile platform to include support for Android applications and 3G and 4G networks in the coming weeks, online users will have the ability to try their luck anytime and anywhere in the state,” Borgata’s vice-president of information technology, John Forelli, said.
