Bitcoin remains as the best-performing asset class so far this year. Fundstrat’s head of research, Thomas Lee took to Twitter to showcase how Bitcoin has increased more than any other asset class in 2020. The digital currency, having expanded by about 40% since the beginning of this year, has outperformed other asset classes by over 19%.
In 2019, Bitcoin saw 92.2% expansion before the year’s over, beating different class assets as well. Up until now, the second leading asset class are US Treasuries, which are flaunting a 21.1% increase. Gold is following in 3rd with a 12.5% rise. Inquisitively, Nasdaq – which saw a 35.2% increase through the span of 2019 – has just increased 1.7% this year.
