Online casino and sportsbook operator BetVictor has announced it will launch an in-house live casino studio within its Gibraltar offices.
The development was confirmed after BetVictor linked up with live online casino games solutions developer MediaLive.
According to BetVictor, the arrangement marks the first time that an egaming operator has set up its own studio rather than outsourcing it to a third-party location.
The studio will go live in the final quarter of 2013. It will feature three live roulette tables, three live blackjack tables and one live blue screen roulette tables, all in high definition. Live HD baccarat tables will be added early next year.
“We believe we can do it better and can give a better experience than anyone in the market is currently doing,” BetVictor chairman Victor Chandler said.
“As an operator you want to give that feel of a Mayfair casino which is what our customers want.”
