Server and network-based company Amaya Gaming has announced the appointment of Marlon Goldstein as its new executive vice-president, corporate development and general counsel.
Goldstein will begin his new role with Amaya on January 24, prior to which he will provide the firm with various consulting services.
Before opting for a move to Amaya, Goldstein was a principal shareholder in the corporate and securities practice at international law firm Greenberg Traurig.
Goldstein was also the co-chair of the company’s Gaming Practice, a multi-disciplinary team of attorneys that represented various companies throughout the gaming industry, as well as investment banks and lenders in financing transactions.
“With his strong background in gaming, governance, finance and M&A, Marlon has the experience and expertise to oversee our legal team and help us achieve our corporate objectives,” Amaya Gaming’s chief executive officer, David Baazov, said.
