Esports Engine, a division of esports infrastructure company Vindex, has hired Alfred Chak as its new chief operating officer. In his new role, Chak will work with senior leadership on short and long-term business strategy, plan and execute business expansion and growth plans, and oversee the operational initiatives and financial reporting of Esports Engine.
Prior to joining the company, Chak served in several executive roles including strategic planning and chief of staff for EA’s mobile publishing group, COO, and CFO of IMAX, along with roles at The Walt Disney Company, Goldman Sachs, and Bear Sterns & CO.
Chak joins former Gfinity exec Paul Kent and former Blizzard Entertainment exec Meghan Wiley Tritt, who both joined the company in April.
