Games provider Kiron Interactive and gaming content specialist Vermantia have announced that Kiron’s Virtual Gaming Platform has been certified by the Italian gaming regulatory body, AAMS.
The platform will become the first to commence testing in the county’s recently regulated virtual games market.
Kiron and Vermantia plan to begin satellite broadcasting of four virtual games channels, powered by the games content of Kiron Interactive, and three online services in the next six to eight weeks. This testing is subject to final approval by AAMS.
The firms said the operation of the virtual platform by Vermantia will allow for the creation of “custom, turnkey” televised virtual games solutions – customised to the specific market and client needs.
Vermantia already has experience in global satellite and IP deployments in a number of international markets, including territories in South America, Eastern Europe and China.
