Independent games developer Fabula Sports has announced the launch of its Fabula Football virtual currency-based sports betting game on iOS and Android devices.
Players can use their mobile device to place a bet on a football match and buy and sell bets as their values change during live games.
The game will feature a range of matches from tournaments such as the English Premier League, Uefa Champions League, German Bundesliga and the 2014 Fifa World Cup next summer.
Bet types will include final match outcome, goal difference and next goals scorer.
Fabula Football also features a variety of states and analytics to allow players to track their progress via graphs and states across multiple games in the personal zone.
“Fabula Football is designed primarily as a social gaming experience,” Fabula Sports said in a statement. “It integrates fully with Facebook so that players can compete with their friends and share real-time updates on their progress during and after matches.”
