Gaming content specialist Vermantia has launched its latest retail gaming solution, MobiBet, which will cater for licensed gaming operators that want to offer pundits a choice of televised game services in the retail space.
Vermantia said that MobiBet had been developed to help counter the fragmented nature of international retail networks where the capability to deploy multiple television screens delivering gaming content is restricted.
The company claims that MobiBet “bridges” mobile, online and retail betting by offering multiple gaming feeds through a betting application, using dedicated free-to-access Wi-Fi hotspots in each retail point.
Such “SmartSpots” are created in retail points from which all smart devices in the shop can access live streaming of gaming content.
A custom mobile application is created for each operator and delivers live streaming of content, odds and statistics. It will also be integrated into with the existing web services of an operator.
The application is available on iOS and Android devices and is implemented as a native application.
