Dunia, operating under the iplay8 brand, has become the first online casino and games operator to be regulated in Africa after it was approved by the Government in Tanzania – the continent’s only regulated online gaming market.
The new online gaming website is now live on the Quickfire platform, which is powered by internet gaming software provider Microgaming.
“This is a completely new venture for us therefore it was important that we partnered with a reliable and highly experienced gaming provider,” Dunia’s director, Costa Giannakopoulos, said. “We couldn’t be more delighted with our decision to choose Quickfire; they have been a critical component in the development of our online business.”
Following the approval of Dunia in Tanzania, Quickfire now provides its gaming solutions in a total number of 24 regulated jurisdictions worldwide.
Ashley Sandyford-Sykes, head of Quickfire, added, “The introduction of our 24th licensed jurisdiction highlights Quickfire’s global reach and augments our position as a leading supplier of gaming content, worldwide.”
