Newgioco Group Inc has kicked off sports betting via its Italian online betting platform and will include the League of Legends, DOTA, Starcraft, as well as NBA Basketball, Formula One and MotoGP sports versions.
Due to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the company was forced to temporarily shut down 150 betting shop locations throughout Italy, but the organisation emphasised that the closure of the physical locations would not impact its ongoing online and mobile operations. People can now use personal computers, tablets and cell phones to position bets across all online platforms.
“Clients of our online operators through Multigioco in Italy are now able to bet on the outcome of esports competitions of League of Legends, DOTA, Starcraft, as well as esports versions of NBA Basketball, Formula One and MotoGP,” Newgioco commented.
