Helsinki-based startup Loupedeck announced that it has raised a €2 million EUR ($2.36 million USD) investment from zVentures, the corporate venture arm of Razer. The startup, which was founded in 2016 with an oversubscribed crowdfunding campaign, plans to use the investment proceeds to support its growth.
Loupedeck specialized in making digital input device consoles for creative software and live streaming. The company entered the live streaming market in September 2020 with the launch of its latest console, the Loupedeck Live. According to Razer’s investment director Cho Weihao, the company, which is an established hardware manufacturer in the gaming and live streaming ecosystem, is looking to support the startup’s expansion in the live streaming market following the investment.
