On Friday, Manchester City Esports announced the two sleeve partners that will be adorning its uniforms as part of its esports kit: Etisalat and Nexen Tire. The partnership will see Etisalat and Nexen Tire logos placed on the jerseys of Manchester City’s professional FIFA players Shaun “Shellzz” Springette & Ryan Pessoa during the FIFA 20 Global Series season, and other live events.
Etisalat, also known as Emirates Telecommunication Group, is a multinational telecommunications service provider covering 15 countries spanning Asia, the Middle East, and Africa.
Nexen Tire, is a South Korean tire company that exports tires for cars, SUVs, and trucks.
The first activation for Springette and Pessoa will take place at the eClub World Cup in Milan from Feb. 7-9, with the first matches kicking off at approximately 2.45 p.m. CET.
In 2019, Manchester City Esports signed a formal deal with FaZe Clan to help facilitate the esports program for the team in order to help connect its audience to esports.
