Hong Kong-based esports organization Talon Esports announced a partnership Thursday with KFC Thailand for its Arena of Valor team.
Financial terms of the deal, which will last for the duration of 2021, were not disclosed.
Under the terms of this new deal, KFC branding will be featured on the front of the dtac Talon player jerseys. The deal will also include co-branded content, marketing, and activations.
On Wednesday, Talon announced that it had signed a sponsorship deal with dtac, one of Thailand’s biggest telecommunications companies. As part of that deal, Talon’s Arena of Valor team was rebranded to dtac Talon.
Talon operates six esports teams across four different markets and is also the exclusive esports tournament operator for Valorant in Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan; and League of Legends: Wild Rift in Hong Kong.
