Macau Casino operators to set up locations for Covid-19 testing. Six casino operators have been approved by Macau ‘s Health Bureau to build Covid-19 testing facilities within their respective properties. China Certification and Inspection Group Macau Co Ltd will perform the testing in these venues. The test results obtained at these venues will be checked by the health authority.
The Health Bureau said that the sampling process and testing venues within the casino properties have to match with the Macau government’s technical and safety standards.
Since July 15, in addition to the current criteria of undertaking a body-temperature check and providing a clear “green” Macau Health Code outcome, customers wishing to access the casino floors are expected to have a nucleic acid test certificate confirming freedom from Covid-19 infection.
Macau has currently four Covid-19 testing facilities, including two government-run venues and two testing locations run by private entities.
