Samsung Enhances Galaxy Gaming With New Launches

Mobile technology and digital solutions specialist Samsung has announced the launch of its Smartphone GamePad and Mobile Console app in a move that it claims will enhance the gaming experience across its Galaxy devices.

Samsung said that it would launch the Smartphone GamePad in response to the expanding global gaming market and claimed that the new offering would allow Galaxy device users to access an “advanced experience” whilst on the move.

The GamePad steel frame is attachable to mobile devices ranging from four to just over six inches and connects to smartphones and tablets through Bluetooth pairing.

Samsung said that the most convenient features optimised for its Galaxy devices running Android 4.3 enable easy connectivity with GamePad via NFC tag and quicker access to games via the ‘PLAY’ button.

Tapping this button allows the user to access the Mobile Console app, Samsung’s new integrated game launching app that opens in conjunction with GamePad to enable users to browse and purchase GamePad-supported games.

The Mobile Console app is available to download through Samsung Apps or by tapping the PLAY and currently offers 35 games, with Samsung confirming that more will be released in 2014.

The GamePad is currently only available in selected European markets but will be expanded into additional regions in the coming weeks.
