Plus500 Extends Atlético Madrid Sponsorship for 2021/2022 Season

Plus500, an online contracts for differences (CFDs) broker announced today that the company has extended its long-term partnership with the Spanish football club, Atlético de Madrid for the 2021/2022 season.

According to the official press release, the latest sponsorship extension will enable Plus500 to take advantage of a wide range of sponsorship and branding rights including the logo of Plus500 on the official kit of Atlético Madrid.

The broker has recently expanded its portfolio of global sports sponsorships including sponsorship deals with Atalanta Bergamasca Calcio in Italy (Bergamo), Legia Warsaw in Poland and BSC Young Boys Football Club in Switzerland (Berne). Additionally, Plus500 has a sponsorship deal with Brumbies rugby team in Australia.

Commenting on the partnership extension, David Zruia, CEO of Plus500, said: “We are thrilled to extend our longstanding partnership with Atlético Madrid, which has been highly successful to date in supporting our international brand recognition. In 2020, the relationship has remained stable and robust, in the face of what has been a turbulent and challenging period. We look forward to continuing to support the club through the 2021/22 season.”

The company plans to increase its brand exposure with the recent partnership extension. Plus500 stated that the sports partnership has helped the company to grow its brand awareness in key markets around the world. The broker is planning to explore new territories for global expansion. The Spanish football club has won several European titles in the last decade including UEFA Super Cup and UEFA Europa League.
