Beeks Taps IPC as Preferred Vendor for Global WAN Infrastructure

Beeks Financial Cloud Group Plc announced this Thursday that it has teamed up with IPC Systems, Inc. (IPC). The collaboration will allow both companies to bolster their offerings to their respective customers.

IPC provides trading communications and network solutions to financial services firms. Beeks, on the other hand, is a cloud computing and connectivity provider for the financial markets.

Under the agreement, IPC will act as the preferred vendor for Beeks’ global WAN infrastructure. Beeks, in turn, will be the preferred cloud vendor for IPC’s Connexus Infrastructure Services.

Beeks and IPC are “ideally suited”

As part of the partnership, Beeks will provide infrastructure for IPC’s Connexus Cloud customers. According to the statement, both organizations are ideally suited to supply the services that each company requires.

Commenting on the partnership, Gordon McArthur, Beeks Financial Cloud CEO, said: “Our partnership with IPC for a strategic exchange of services highlights our versatile offering, in supplying solutions to other technology providers that require our capabilities.”

“This collaboration looks to bring advantages to both sides and will consequently bring a more efficient service offering to customers, with a greater range of capabilities.”

Today’s announcement comes on the heels of Beeks acquiring the Commercial Network Services (CNS). As FortuneZ reported, the cloud computing and connectivity provider said that it paid $1.4 million for CNS’ assets.

“We are pleased to collaborate with Beeks and bring significant benefits to both of our customers,” added Robert Coole, Vice President Cloud Technologies at IPC.

“Connexus Cloud is an unparalleled multi-cloud solution for the global financial markets and empowers the use of cloud for secure, high-performance data and voice communications. In doing so, it provides a tremendous competitive global advantage that will further enhance the value of this agreement.”

IPC has been venturing further into the cryptocurrency space. Earlier this year, the company announced a partnership with Omniex, which develops technology and services to make it easier for financial institutions to trade cryptocurrencies.

With this agreement, IPC Systems provides its clients with access to a wide spectrum of crypto-asset exchanges and over-the-counter (OTC) providers through the IPC Connexus Cloud.
